Oxidative dehydrogenation of propane with N2O over zeolite Cr/FeZSM-5
Main Article Content
The catalytic activity of FeZSM-5 impregnated with Cr was studied in the propane oxidative dehydrogenation, using N2O as oxidant. For the metal impregnation, the methods spray-drying and wet-impregnation were evaluated, to determine the effect on metal dispersion and catalytic activity. The catalysts were characterized by x-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis and surface area by N2 adsorption. The highest yield (15.2%) was obtained at 400°C with the catalyst containing 0.5% Cr through wet impregnation. The catalysts showed a very high stability.
